Episode Summary
Monday’s show lurches from Tim’s real-life emergency room nightmare straight into a parade of fraud, surveillance panic, pervert-tech horror, and an anime-themed masturbation tie-in, with a quick stop to roast a 90s infomercial goblin in a question-mark suit.
Episode Highlights
- Fake triplet chaos: A woman waiting outside a soup kitchen somehow turns a simple police interaction into a full-blown identity fraud spectacular involving a dead sister, a fake ID, dyslexia, a brain injury, benefits fraud, and one extremely dry spit attack.
- Matthew Lesko returns from the crypt: Tim revisits the screaming king of government-freebie infomercials, remembers the glorious scammy energy of 90s late-night TV, and discovers that the question-mark-suit lunatic is somehow still alive and posting on YouTube.
- Meta pervert glasses strike again: A registered sex offender allegedly used camera-equipped sunglasses to record children at a wading pool, because apparently every new gadget immediately gets adopted by the worst people alive.
- Sex toy anime synergy: Japanese brand Tenga teams up with New Panty and Stocking with Garter Belt for an officially licensed masturbation sleeve, proving that 2026 is still finding fresh ways to humiliate us all.
Ongoing Freaks and Personal Horror
- Tim’s trip to see his mom included two emergency room visits in two days, a possible spine situation involving bones getting ground into dust, and the cheerful prospect of doctors maybe injecting her with a cement-like substance.
- MRI demon transformation: Tim’s mom went into the scan joking with staff and came out like a wrathful underworld queen ready to curse everyone in the room for eternity.
- Percocet did absolutely nothing: Even after getting sent home with heavy-duty pain meds, the pain stayed at a permanent “10”, which remained the official rating even after the hospital rolled out the serious IV space drugs.
- Tim admits his greatest skill: Years of telling listeners he was “sick” have apparently turned him into an elite liar, which came in handy when he had to fake a doctor phone call just to get his mom back to the hospital.
Retro Trash and Infomercial Madness
- Don LaPree’s beachside scam gospel gets revisited, complete with tiny classified ads, giant promises, and the sort of business plan that sounds like it was scribbled by a con artist having a heat stroke near the ocean.
- Matthew Lesko’s books promised free money for everybody, but mostly delivered giant padded directories of grants, Section 8 references, random programs, and the general feeling that he was reselling public information with cocaine-level enthusiasm.
- Pet lovers got their own Lesko hustle: Tim highlights one of the weirder branches of the empire, where free dog frisbees, pet hotlines, and pet psychiatrists were all shoved into the same breathless pitch.
- The saddest revelation: Lesko is still online, still shouting, still wearing those absurd suits, and still treating YouTube comments like they’re sworn financial testimony.
️ Distorted News
- Florida man vs. the fake camera: A guy dressed in black allegedly went out to destroy a hated Flock surveillance camera, only to smash a 3D-printed decoy camera cops had installed as bait. Congratulations, everybody involved is weird.
- Police arts and crafts hour: The fake camera reportedly cost hundreds of dollars, which raises the important question of whether law enforcement is now just burning public money on elaborate plastic sting operations.
- Sex offender + camera sunglasses = nightmare: A repeat child-porn offender was accused of using Meta/Ray-Ban-style recording glasses and a phone to secretly film children and families at a public wading pool.
- Anime-branded jerk gear: Tenga’s collab with Panty and Stocking includes a limited edition disposable masturbation cup and even a matching tissue-box cover, because no shame-based purchase is complete without coordinated room decor.
Listener Interaction and Freak Business
- Brad Carter prank-call fallout: Tim reads texts from listeners who lovingly describe his prank-call abilities as pure uncut dog shit, then admits they may have a point while still defending the glorious stupidity of the whole bit.
- Gay archaeology hour: One persistent texter sends Tim an old teenage photo and starts grilling him about when he came out, whether he ever touched a vagina, and other questions that absolutely no normal person would ask in rapid succession.
- Young Tim featured image material: Expect an old photo with possible frosted-tip energy, wood-panel chaos, and a Furby lurking in the background.
- Mead Skelton checks in: Mead emails Tim to ask whether Distorted View is a real living or just a sideline, then tries to position himself as a fellow entertainment professional, which inspires Tim to consider becoming Mead’s unsolicited career coach.
